We are part of a statewide network of archival repositories which provides extended access to one of a kind materials. The AGSL has over a half million maps, a half million slides and photographs, rare globes and atlases going back to 1452--it is a gold mine for researchers around the world. The AGSL has the largest map collection in any academic library in North America. The libraries also house the largest Slovenian music collection outside of Slovenia.
